Event Details

We're sold out for this event -- but if you'd like to place your name on a waiting list in case we have any cancellations, please e-mail the Club's Executive Director, Susan Fuller, at susanf@adcmw.org.

This unique workshop, hosted by ADCMW at the Art Institute of Washington, kicks off with an insightful overview of the foundations of lettering and its role in contemporary graphic design, followed by demonstrations and work periods during which you can apply what you've learned. Ken will also answer questions, share resources and ideas, and present a demonstration of how to vectorize artwork in Illustrator. The only materials you need to bring are pencils, tracing paper and markers.

So that Ken can have one-on-one time with each participant, the class size is limited to 20 — meaning that it's purely first-come, first-served!

For more information on Ken's workshops, check out http://typeandlettering.com/lectures_workshops/.
